Modular Reality joins LINE — Native notifications for customers in Japan

April 7, 2026. Modular Reality now speaks LINE. This week we completed the integration with the LINE Messaging API. LINE is the dominant messaging platform in Japan, and our presence there is now native: when an order arrives, customers receive a visual card with the details directly in their LINE chat. When the package leaves the warehouse, the tracking number arrives in the same thread. Operators also receive new order alerts via LINE, alongside the existing Telegram, email, and WhatsApp channels. Technically, we use Flex Messages to present information with rich visual design. The integration runs in the same notification layer that already managed the other channels — LINE is simply added as another destination without changing the architecture. Each channel activates based on user preferences. Customers with a store account receive their notifications across all configured channels, in their profile language. — Modular Reality Team
