The idea behind modular credits

Online games have had exchange currencies for years: you earn points in one place, spend them somewhere else. It works because there's a central system that converts value coherently across different parts.

Modular Credits are exactly that, but for real life. A single unit of value that flows through the entire Modular Network — from Modular Reality's own services to verified partner businesses. It doesn't matter where you earn them: you spend them wherever it suits you.

Each credit is worth 1 JPY. If you pay in euros or dollars, it converts at the day's exchange rate. That single unit is how we calculate costs and equivalences. That way we can give real value to very different things — an hour of consulting, an AI generation, a haircut — using the same unit.

How it works — simply

1% on every purchase — When you buy from the store or hire a service, 1% of the amount becomes credits added to your account.

Centralized system — Credits aren't in a blockchain token or external wallet. They're in your Modular Reality account. One balance, accessible from any network node.

Real cost, real value — Each service has its price in credits, calculated from what it costs us. We reserve the right to adjust the credit cost of AI-powered services — since third-party API pricing can vary — to accurately cover actual costs without surprises.

Where you earn them

Nexus Supply store 1% of every purchase, straight to your balance. Automatic.

Direct Modular Reality services Consulting, software, fabrication — every engagement generates credits.

Verified network partners Hair salon, physiotherapy, whatever comes next. If it's in the Modular Network, it accumulates.

Current state — honestly

The infrastructure is live. Credits are already being used at the AI hairstyle kiosk of the first partner salon. The purchase cashback system is implemented. Account-to-account transfers work.

What's growing is the network. Each new node is more places to earn and spend. We grow deliberately: one by one, verified by verified.
